Swimming Sectional Results

On Saturday, many of our female swimmers completed their season. For one, she’ll have the opportunity to continue her sophomore year. Haley Sakbun won both the 200 and 500 Freestyle. Boys Basketball Comes Back to Beat Northview

Thursday night, the Braves had comeback to beat the Northview Knights. The win snapped the Braves 8 game losing streak and prevented a Vigo County sweep for Northview. Lady Braves Basketball Gets Senior Night Win

On Friday, the Lady Braves beat the Jug Rox of Shoals 62-42. Zayda Hatfield led the Braves with 17 points and Michaela Cox chipped in 16 points and 16 rebounds. The Braves open up sectional play on Friday vs. the winner of Mooresville and Brownsburg.

Bowling 2nd in the State

On Saturday, our bowling team traveled to Anderson for the state finals and finished 2nd to Noblesville. David Hayes competed in the Individual tournament and finished 18th. Team members include: John Barbour, David Hayes, Aiden Fellows, Isaiah Negron, Devon Hunt, Garrison Taladay, and Derek Hudgens.

Wrestling Finishes 2nd at Sectionals

At Bloomington North, our wrestling team finished 2nd behind Bloomington South. The Braves advanced 13 wrestlers to next weeks regional. Both Swim Teams Compete in Conference Indiana Championships

On Saturday, both teams competed in the highly competitive Conference Indiana Championships. They were held at the Vigo County Aquatic Center. Bowling Heading to State

On Saturday, our boys bowling team punched their ticket to the State Finals. The day began with John Barbour and David Hayes competing in the individual tournament. Both bowled really well. Braves dominated rival Terre Haute North with a score of 58-6.  The Braves only lost at two weights. They retained the Hammer for 4th year in a row. Wrestling Has a Weekend to Remember

What a weekend for wrestling! It started with a Senior Jaryn Strong placing 2nd in the female wrestling state tournament. This was Jaryn’s highest finish at state. Saturday they did something no Terre Haute team has ever done, win a conference title. Champions were Gary Bays, Moses Hamm, Brendan McPike, and Josh Howell.

Bowling Wins 2nd Straight Regional Title

On Saturday, our men’s bowling team had a great day in Jasper. It started in the morning when seniors David Hayes and John Barbour advanced to Semi-State in the individual championship. Those two then led their team to a second consecutive team title. They’ll play this Saturday in Kokomo.
