The Terre Haute South Lady Brave Cross Country team competed in the Elite Division of the Brown County Eagle Classic and finished 13th as a team behind 10 of the top 25 teams in the state. They were led by a 28th place finish by Lily Barton (19:22.7). Micah Peals (35th- 19:34.2), Ava Rose (74th- 20:54.0), Kaya Tanner (81st- 21:15.8), Crispin Ewen (86th- 21:35.7), Kaylee Auterson (90th- 21:47.8), and Aeryn Bradley (93rd- 21:57.8) wrapped up the Top 7 scorers for the Lady Braves. Other finishers were Mallory Yatsko- 21:59.6, Sophia Ewen- 22:07.3, Sonya Woolston- 22:57.6, Emma Shober- 23:59.2, and Maddie Klink- 24:56.7. All twelve girls that race ran season bests including six all time personal best times. The Lady Braves will compete next Saturday 9/21 at LaVern Gibson in the Conference Indiana Championships.
