Jami Patterson Steps Down as Tennis Coach

This past fall was Coach Jami Patterson’s last as a tennis coach at Terre Haute South. Coach Patterson led both boys and girls teams to multiple sectional and regional titles. She also coached the 2016 Girls and 2019 Boys State finalist teams. Coach Patterson has decided it’s time to step down to focus on family

Wrestling Win Terre Haute’s First Regional Championship

Saturday, our Wrestling team won Terre Haute’s first ever Regional Championship. 10 wrestlers advanced to Semi-State competition this weekend in Evansville. Swimming Sectional Results

On Saturday, many of our female swimmers completed their season. For one, she’ll have the opportunity to continue her sophomore year. Haley Sakbun won both the 200 and 500 Freestyle. Boys Basketball Comes Back to Beat Northview

Thursday night, the Braves had comeback to beat the Northview Knights. The win snapped the Braves 8 game losing streak and prevented a Vigo County sweep for Northview. The Braves were led by Cordell Hanes with 15 points. Deontae Wade led the Braves with 7 rebounds. The Braves travel to Plainfield on Saturday.  Before the

Lady Braves Basketball Gets Senior Night Win

On Friday, the Lady Braves beat the Jug Rox of Shoals 62-42. Zayda Hatfield led the Braves with 17 points and Michaela Cox chipped in 16 points and 16 rebounds. The Braves open up sectional play on Friday vs. the winner of Mooresville and Brownsburg.

Bowling 2nd in the State

On Saturday, our bowling team traveled to Anderson for the state finals and finished 2nd to Noblesville. David Hayes competed in the Individual tournament and finished 18th. Team members include: John Barbour, David Hayes, Aiden Fellows, Isaiah Negron, Devon Hunt, Garrison Taladay, and Derek Hudgens.

At Bloomington North, our wrestling team finished 2nd behind Bloomington South. The Braves advanced 13 wrestlers to next weeks regional.
